Bells Elementary School Fifth Grade Chorus a Finalist in NJ 101.5 Contest

Thursday, December 18th will be a big day for the Bells Elementary School fifth grade chorus. That morning, the Bells singers will have their day on the radio as part of New Jersey 101.5 FM’s annual Christmas Choir Contest.
Bells is one of 15 finalists in the fifth annual competition. Choirs had to submit a tape of themselves singing, and finalists were determined in late November.
From December 1st to the 19th, one choir per day will have its song played just after the 12 o'clock news. After each performance is played, NJ 101.5 listeners will have 24 hours to vote for their favorite. On Monday, December 22nd, the winning school choir in each category (elementary, middle school, and high school) will be announced.
To vote for Bells, log on to starting just after 12 noon on Thursday, December 18th. Bells’ song is called “Christmas Jubilation.” The fifth grade choir is under the direction of Mrs. Leona Davis.
