Salem County Health Department to Offer Children Free Flu Shots
Starting this Thursday, December 11, the Salem County Health Department will be offering free flu shots and mists for children who are uninsured or covered by Medicaid. The health department received 300 doses of the vaccines for free through a federally-funded program operated by the state of New Jersey. The program is being offered to children as young as six months and up to 18 years old through the health department’s Wellness Clinic. The vaccines will be available every Thursday from 2 to 5:30pm at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, located at 310 Woodstown Road in Salem.
