Flood Warnings in Effect as Nor'easter Nears

A coastal flood warning is in effect until 1pm for most of southeast New Jersey, including Cumberland County.
Forecasters are warning residents to avoid waters as they may be deeper than they look.  Look out for ponding on roads and turn around from washed out road beds.  The National Weather Service also said that the nor'easter also could bring winds up to 30 mph.
A coastal flood warning indicates that moderate or major tidal flooding is imminent or occurring.  It's recommended to follow the instructions of your local emergency management officials.
