Washington Township High School Senior to Play in All-American Game

Washington Township High School senior Derek MacKinnon will play in the Fourth Annual All-American Game in Raleigh, N.C.
MacKinnon is one of 42 high school soccer players in the nation selected to play on December 13th.
Of the two players chosen from New Jersey, Mackinnon will join Brian Hawkins of Notre Dame.
This year, MacKinnon helped lead the Minutemen to their first New Jersey State Group IV Championship.
In their past three seasons, MacKinnon and the Minutemen claimed their third consecutive Olympic Conference American Division title.
The team also won their second consecutive South Jersey Coaches Association Tournament crown.
MacKinnon scored 19 goals, along with the game-winning tally in the Coaches Tournament final, the South Jersey Group IV semifinal and final, and the state Group IV semifinal.
MacKinnon will continue his soccer career on a scholarship to Saint Joseph's University next fall.
