Pop-Up Store to Open In Vineland

A four-day Pop-Up Store spectacular, celebrating New Jersey’s 350th birthday will take place on Thursday, December 4 through Sunday, December 7, in Vineland.
The centerpiece of the celebration will be the opening of the Pop-Up Store, which features the assets that downtown businesses bring to the state’s economy, culture, and history.  This is one of the 16 Pop-Up stores in the state, but the only one in Cumberland, Salem, Gloucester, and Cape May counties.
The store will include 350th branded merchandise and books from Rutgers University Press on New Jersey history, figures, and politics, as well as merchandise from local sellers such as the “Jerseyopoly” board game and the children’s book “Goodnight, Jersey.”
In addition to the opening of the Pop-Up Store, there will be a variety of events, including a meet-and-greet with Cody Calafiore, of the Big Brother 16 television show, a NJ themed concert by the Bay-Atlantic Symphony Chamber Ensemble, Breakfast with Santa, a special Pearl Harbor Day commemoration, a diamond-setting workshop, a book signing, and more.
“I am really excited about the array of activities we have surrounding the Pop-Up Store event,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “We are proud to open up our Main Street Vineland office for the store and for other special events there to make it a nucleus of activity for the celebration.”
The Pop-Up Store will be located at the Main Street Vineland office, at 603 E. Landis Ave.
“We are thrilled to be able to take part in the NJ 350 Pop-Up Store Program and show the tremendous heritage and history of our state,” said  Swanson. “It is also is (a) wonderful opportunity to show off the history, cultural, and products produced and available locally. You can pay tribute to New Jersey and, at the same time, get your holiday gift shopping done while supporting our local businesses.”
