NJDEP is Looking For Input on Potential Sale of Menantico Ponds

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will hold two open meetings to gain public input on the potential sale of Menantico Ponds located in Millville.
The NJDEP is proposing to sell the 81 acres to either the City of Millville, the Millville Urban Redevelopment Corporation, the Cumberland County Improvement Authority, or any other nonprofit or public entity designated by the City.
If the property is conveyed by the NJDEP to the City or its designee, it will be used for commercial industrial/purposes consistent with current zoning.
The first hearing will take place at the Millville City Hall on December 3rd at 6:30pm in the Commission Chambers on the 4th Floor. The second hearing will take place on January 6th at 2:30pm in the NJ Department of Environmental Protection in Trenton.
