Bridgeton Mayor Sworn in as Vice President of New Jersey League of Municipalities
Bridgeton Mayor Albert Kelly has been elected to serve as Second Vice President for the New Jersey League of Municipalities. During the November 2014 Convention, Mayors from around the state voted for Kelly at their November convention in Atlantic City. In his post, Kelly will help to ensure that issues impacting municipal governments and their elected officials are represented at not only the county but state and federal levels as well. “Our cities are where the most creative governing is happening these days, yet so much of what we can do is determined at the state and federal level," said Kelly. "I want help my colleagues at the League of Municipalities to be as strong a voice as possible for municipal government because we’re the ones closest to the people."
