New CompleteCare President and CEO Announced

CompleteCare has announced the resignation of President and CEO Gil Walter. Walter is retiring after 14 years at the helm of the CompleteCare Health Network and a total of 41 years in the community health field.
Curtis Edwards of Bridgeton will assume Walter’s role effective January 1st.
“Everyone agreed that Gil’s replacement had very large shoes to fill,” said CompleteCare board member Paul Cooper. “Curtis threw his hat into the ring about a year ago and since then the board took note as he arose to the occasion and helped to lead the organization through a year filled with new challenges and opportunities.”
Edwards has been a member of the network’s team since 2004 in a variety of positions, most recently in the role of Executive Vice President.  In addition, Edwards is Vice President of the Bridgeton Board of Education, President of the Bridgeton Lunch Rotary Club, is on Bridgeton's City Council, and is Secretary for Gateway Community Action Partnership.
