Take the "Plunge" to Benefit Parvin State Park on Dec. 6

The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee are asking people to take the "Parvin Polar Plunge with Santa" on Saturday, Dec. 6 to benefit Parvin State Park's future projects and programs. The plunge is an annual event held during the winter where participants jump into Parvin Lake despite the frigid temperatures.  Attendees not only will get bragging rights, but also free coffee and hot chocolate.  There will be a costume contest for all the anyone that is participating, so don't forget to wear your favorite plunging costume.  Registration begins at 9am and the plunge, led by Santa, begins at 10am sharp.  The cost is $15.
