The Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce to Honor Willie Thomas at Their November 12 Luncheon

The Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce announced November's “Outstanding Citizen”selection, Willie Thomas, will be honored at their November 12th Luncheon.
Thomas, 46, said that he decided to dedicate his life to service after a near-death experience after he developed a severe infection and had to have his left leg amputated.
"He is an inspiration to me and to many in our congregation," Rev. Charles Wilkins said. "Willie has faced many personal challenges, but Willie has shown his love through his dedication to the church. Willie does not consider himself disabled. I would love to have 10 more like Willie."
The purpose of the Outstanding Citizen Award is recognize those individuals in the Greater Millville community that day in and day out do good things for others for the greater good of the community.
The luncheon is being held at the New Jersey Motorsports Park and begins at 11:30am. The cost is $20.00 with a reservation and $22.00 at the door without a reservation. Reservations are strongly urged to be made by Monday, Nov. 10, by calling 856-825-2600.
