Holocaust Luncheon Brings Together Survivor Families

MARGATE – More than 80 Holocaust survivors and their families attended the Holocaust Survivor Intergenerational luncheon at the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center on Sunday, August 16th.
Hosted by Jewish Family Service, the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton and the Conference on Material Claims Against Germany, the annual luncheon brought together survivors and their families for a day of socialization and entertainment.
Attendees enjoyed musical entertainment by local singer Susie Neustadter and pianist Dean Schneider. The duo performed Yiddish and Hebrew songs with a few guests even getting up and dancing to the music.
Activities, such as the monthly Holocaust Survivor luncheons, offer socialization for seniors. From transportation to nursing assessments, JFS offers a variety of services for adults and older adults through Village by the Shore, which provides concierge, volunteer, and professional services for adults (50+) in the community.
