Atlantic County Receives More than $76,000 for Local Arts Programs

ATLANTIC COUNTY - The Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs has been awarded $76,327 in state funding from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts to support local non-profit arts organizations.
The award will help provide Atlantic County residents with access to arts experiences within their communities and promote the importance of the arts to quality of life.
Organizations that are interested in applying for funding may do so by submitting grant proposals by Wednesday, September 9th. Guidelines and the application for grant funding are available online at
Priority for arts funding will be given to programs that promote arts education and life-long learning; increased accessibility to the arts; commissioning new work; and opportunities for New Jersey artists.
