HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Pennsylvania for what party officials say is an opportunity to promote the tax overhaul bill he signed into law last month. Trump's visit Thursday is to H&K Equipment in the suburban Pittsburgh borough of Coraopolis. Trump was last in Pennsylvania in October when he spoke on his tax overhaul plan at a hanger at Harrisburg International Airport.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Jury selection has begun in the upcoming federal corruption trial of Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski. The Morning Call reports 70 potential jurors were questioned in Philadelphia on Tuesday ahead of the mayor's trial in Allentown. A district judge told the group that opening statements are scheduled for Monday. The Democrat has pleaded not guilty to accepting more than $150,000 in campaign contributions in exchange for city business.

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A nephew has been charged in the murders of his aunt and her husband in their home in the Pocono Mountains last week. Lancelot Fortune of Stroudsburg is charged with criminal homicide and evidence-tampering. Authorities allege that he stabbed Sharon Fortune to death Friday on a couch in the Tannersville home and then killed Richard Fells after he returned from picking up takeout food for the three of them.

HOOVERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A coroner says a man and woman found dead in a western Pennsylvania home died of gunshot wounds, but officials say foul play isn't suspected. State police say the bodies of 63-year-old John Rosey and 62-year-old Diane Rosey were found after troopers were called to a Quemahoning Township home shortly after 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The Somerset County coroner said both died of gunshot wounds, but he hasn't issued a ruling on the manner of death pending further investigation by state police.
